Warriors shock Pasadena City with first win in women’s volleyball conference opener

El Camino women’s volleyball battled the Pasadena City College Lancers, ultimately taking home the win 3-1 in its conference opener on Friday, Sept. 16. Sophomore Leafa Juarez proved to be one of the night’s shining stars on the court clocking in a career record total of 28 kills for the match. Read more
Fullerton defeats El Camino during intense women’s soccer matchup
Fullerton defeated El Camino 1-0, with the Hornets scoring the game-winning goal in the second half. Both sides traded multiple goal attempts throughout the game, but only one shot managed to escape the gatekeeper and go into the net. Read more.

Student Support Expo highlights programs for student success

El Camino hosted its annual Student Support Expo event earlier this week near the Student Services Plaza. The purpose of the event is to highlight the various student support programs and services offered on campus. Read more.
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Program pushes for less disciplinary action

El Camino’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program is attempting to lessen disciplinary action for on-campus violations. The Police Department and the Health Center have partnered to help bring forward the various resources available to the community both on and off campus. Read more.
