As the El Camino College community continues to return to normalcy coming out of the global pandemic, one thing that many students, faculty and staff have noticed as an oddity is the limited hours available at on-campus dining locations. The Union believes campus restaurants should extend their business hours for the busy population at El Camino. Read more.

El Camino women’s soccer defeats Cerritos in South Coast Conference opener

The El Camino Warriors won their first South Coast Conference women's soccer game of the season after defeating the Cerritos College Falcons 3-1 on Tuesday, at the El Camino College Soccer Field. The Warriors are now 7-2-1 overall and they will play against LA City Cubs Friday at the Los Angeles City College Soccer Field on Friday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m Read more.

El Camino could drop mask mandate, including classroom purview, next spring semester

This spring semester, El Camino students may return to a mask-free campus. The two options that are on the table are to keep mask requirements as they are now or drop them entirely and make them optional for every person in every space. Read more.
Vaccine requirement at El Camino still in place as local colleges rescind mandates

Currently, El Camino College still enforces a vaccine mandate requiring all students and employees to provide proof of vaccination with few medical and religious exceptions. The future of El Camino’s vaccine mandate decided upon during the next Board of Trustees meeting scheduled to take place on Monday, Oct. 17. Read more.

Chanteuse, songwriter and accordionist Jessica Fichot was set to show off her wide variety of musical talent to the El Camino Community before COVID-19 interrupted her plans. Now Fichot is back and set to perform at the end of this month. Read more.
