Letter From The Editor
Genuine thanks
The fourth print issue of The Union is here and with just one issue left in the semester we’re getting closer to wrapping this journalism class and my tenure as Editor-In-Chief.
It’s been a wild semester.
Helping cultivate a new team, a Las Vegas conference complete with a student roadtrip convoy, covering sensitive and hard stories both local and international and learning how to be an effective leader are just some of the highlights from my fall semester with The Union.
There is no newsletter next week in observance of Thanksgiving, so with that I wanted to take this time to give my thanks.
I want to thank my editorial team for their hard work, their dedication and for trusting me to work with them and allowing me to get to know them.
I want to thank the student reporters for their efforts across the entire semester, for being willing to learn and change and for turning in great stories.
I want to thank our journalism advisers for their never ending support, for their patience and for creating program where students really learn by putting their work into practice.
And lastly my most heartfelt thanks to our college community.
Thank you to our administration, our faculty, staff and students. Thank you for talking with us, for trusting us to share your stories and for being our readers.
Delfino Camacho,
Editor-In-Chief
