Community rallies behind ailing family of missing engineering student

Juan Carlos Hernández, pert-time engineering student at ECC, has been missing for over two weeks, the last time he was seen was on Sept. 22 as he left home from work. His case has been moved to LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Unit after the car he was driving was found abandoned two days later with no damages. Read more.

Flu shot clinic extended by a week
Student Health Services has made the decision to extend their Flu Shot Clinic for another week. Students who missed last week’s clinic now have a chance to get their free flu shots by Oct. 9. Read more.

Dancing through change

After ECC's campus shut down, students and faculty in the dance department no longer had access to have class in well-equipped dance studios. However, they've learned to adapt in an online environment and turn ordinary household items into makeshift dance equipment. Read more.
Communications student creates original digital magazine, titled “Unpublished”
Communications major, Rebecca Bloch created Unpublished Magazine in April 2020 for young, aspiring artists to gain experience in writing. After six months, the magazine has over 100 high school and college students on staff from all around the world. Read more.

Virtual pumpkin decorating contest
