Vaccinations no longer required on Nov. 7

El Camino College will no longer require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for its students, employees or visitors as of Nov. 7. The new policy change only affects the requirement for COVID-19 vaccinations on campus and not the mask requirement. Read more.
$6.9 million could go toward student equity and achievement

El Camino’s Academic Senate recently passed the Student Equity and Achievement Plan which could allocate $6.9 million to programs promoting student advancement. The plan now heads to College Council and then the Board of Trustees for final approval. Read more.

El Camino men’s basketball rallies against Santa Barbara in late-game comeback
The El Camino men’s basketball team opened up its first game of the season with a win against the Santa Barbara Vaqueros 64-58 at the El Camino Gym Complex on Tuesday, Nov. 1. The El Camino Warriors are set to play at Imperial Valley on Saturday, Nov. 5. Read more.
El Camino loses 6-1 to Mt. San Antonio in difficult women’s soccer game

After a tied 0-0 game against Rio Hondo and a 7-3 victory against Compton, El Camino College’s women’s soccer division are recovering from their 6-1 loss to Mt. San Antonio during a matchup on Oct. 25th. El Camino College will be facing off against the Pasadena City College Lancers at home on Friday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. Read more.
