Lion dances, haiku wow crowd at 25th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival

Lions approached the crowd slowly, moving to the center of the plaza to steady and rhythmic Okinawan beats.
Two, three, then four lions climbed over benches, rolled on the ground and pretended to bite attendees with their large, wooden mouths. Read more.
Students take the podium at Associated Students Organization forum
Candidates aiming for student government positions at El Camino College gave speeches and answered questions about their campaigns at a forum held Tuesday, April 8. ASO elections take place every year during the spring semester. About 30 students in total are campaigning for an ASO position this election. Read more.
Music Building faces eventual tear-down

Plans to demolish and rebuild the Music Building are being discussed, although the reconstruction could take years to finalize, interim Vice President of Administrative Services Loic Audusseau said. The only certain construction work planned for the building is repairs to the elevator inside the building. Read more.

Songwriting event with professional musicians inspires music students

Musicians showcased their talent and shared stories through music during the songwriting master class at the Haag Recital Hall on Thursday, April 3.
The event, hosted by the Center for the Arts and open to the public, featured the musical group Twin Flames, a Canadian husband and wife duo. Read more.
Game Development Club opens the door for students to learn game design
Geared toward destigmatizing the process of creating videogames, the Game Development Club gives students the opportunity to learn the technical side of game development in a beginner-friendly environment. Read more.

Take an inside look at the El Camino Badminton Club
